Immutable, infrastructure and tools provider for Web3 gaming, and Polygon Labs, a builder of scalable blockchain and cross-chain solutions, have announced the launch of a dedicated Gaming on Polygon hub on Immutable Play. The new platform is designed to increase player engagement with curated experiences, rewards, and long-term community programs. It will also provide tools and incentives for Web3 game developers across Polygon PoS and Agglayer CDK-powered networks.
Immutable Chain will be connected to Agglayer, which will give developers and players access to shared liquidity across the Polygon ecosystem. This connection is expected to reduce fragmentation and improve scalability for Web3 gaming.
Immutable currently records more than $40 million in total value locked, around 250,000 monthly users, and over 5.5 million signups for its Passport product. The Polygon hub will launch with five new games, quests, and a leaderboard to increase competition and retention.
