Neo Core has started recording and publishing its coordination calls, offering the community direct access to technical discussions and decision-making processes. The first recorded call, held on Oct. 23, is now publicly available. The move is aimed at improving transparency by allowing community members to observe how core contributors evaluate proposals, resolve challenges, and shape the roadmap. While the meeting primarily focused on pull requests and future development planning, its broader significance lies in opening a previously internal process to public view, an important step toward a more open development workflow.
Neo Council and Neo Core convened online on Oct. 22 for a follow-up meeting to review progress on key deliverables set during the Centre Point #2 meetup in Singapore. The discussion touched on multiple action items agreed upon at the September gathering, including fee reductions, updates to GAS reward distribution, adjustments to Council registration parameters, and the development of a new governance platform. The recorded call, now publicly available for community viewing, represents a continued effort to conduct governance transparently and collaboratively.
Neo and SpoonOS launched the Scoop AI Hackathon, a competition exploring the intersection of blockchain and AI. The event spans multiple cities worldwide and will run for approximately four months, with US $100,000 in prizes for developers. The hackathon will take place in Moscow, Hanoi, Tokyo, Seoul, Silicon Valley, Bangalore, Beijing, and London. Registration officially opened Oct. 22 and will remain open through Jan. 31, 2026.
Neo and SpoonOS announced the Moscow Bowl, the first city stop in the Scoop AI Hackathon global series. The event will take place on Nov. 23 at Arbatskaya in Moscow, featuring a full day of hacking, panels, and networking opportunities for AI and Web3 developers.
