The Pixudi team has shared its first NEOBOX monthly update following participation in Centre Point, outlining next development steps and a new communication cadence. Beginning this month, the team plans to publish regular updates on Discord and X to provide consistent insight into the project’s progress.
Pixudi attended the recent Centre Point meetup in Singapore, where founder Alex Scoresby addressed community feedback surrounding transparency about the NEOBOX token. During the session, he fielded questions from attendees and reaffirmed a commitment to clearer communication and greater transparency moving forward.
According to the update, NEOBOX is now preparing to launch its arcade platform, which will integrate mini-games built on Neo and NeoFS. The team’s goal is to host games directly on NeoFS to deliver a fully decentralized and secure experience.
As part of its next steps, NEOBOX will publish rules for a game submission contest on Oct. 22. Developers will be able to upload HTML/JavaScript games or Unity Web builds directly through the NEOBOX system. Full documentation and setup guides are expected to be released around Q1 2026.
Following the platform’s rollout, Pixudi has committed to launching the NEOBOX token by Q4 2026. The team has previously noted plans for the token to power the arcade ecosystem, serve as a utility asset across NEOBOX and Pixudi applications, and reward contributors for participation. The team reiterated that launching a token before the arcade’s foundation is ready could harm the project, noting that most funding has been self-supplied.
The NEOBOX team also acknowledged recent criticism surrounding communication and token launch timelines. Pixudi stated it intends to manage these concerns transparently, offering to provide refunds where appropriate. Supporters will remain eligible for future allocations and benefits, while false claims will be moderated to maintain constructive dialogue.
